The HP buff and Stamina buff can be obtained by Mega Nutrients and Well done Steak, I mean that’s what they are for, right? I used to use the Chef’s Platter with the most HP and Stamina buff but now I don’t. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do this because its very helpful.
Complete Deliveries – Deliveries is basically delivering an item that an NPC requests in exchange for something like a new tool or new ingredient in the canteen. Manage Investigations – Investigations allow you to hunt monsters for more rewards but you have to ‘discover’ the monster first (I usually do 1 expedition where I discover all of ’em so I can have a string of Investigations after). Just register these bounties and it can be completed anytime while you’re questing or investigating just don’t forget to register complete 5 of them before you leave and you’ll be swimming in armor spheres. Registered Bounties – these give you Armor Spheres that can increase defense of your equipped armor. Just for Information (This is for newbies) In these cases it’s best to use Legiana gear in the beginning due to Legiana’s favor which gives you more quest rewards than the normal amount. You are able to get more parts for crafting that way not to mention the special rewards it offers. Instead of going out on an expedition when hunting for parts, it’s better to do quests/investigations instead. I used to go on Expeditions only when hunting for parts, I just realized how inefficient and time consuming this can be!! Energy Drink (Cures Drowsiness/Sleepiness). Cool Drink (Cures Burning ailment status). Antidote (Cures Poison – restores a portion of HP). Herbal Medicine (Cures Poison – restores a portion of HP). Herbal Powder (Group Cures Poison – restores a portion of HP). Mega Barrel Bomb/Large Barrel Bomb/Small Barrel Bomb (Blasting monsters to bits). Nullberry (Cures most of Status Ailments – frost, etc.). Dung Pod (Used to fend away other monsters). Raw Meat (Used to make Well done Steak). Mega Potions – provides half to full HP heals. These are items that is a MUST in your item pouch, do not leave without it or it will make your hunt very challenging. So here’s a list of stuff that I’ve broken down for you. I wasn’t aware of the various items you could use to make your lives easier. To be honest this dictates whether the hunt goes easy or not. 
One of the things I didn’t do in the beginning is preparing for the hunt. So I’ve decided to compile the things I have learned and I wish I knew from the beginning to help you guys. I have spent at least 100 hours now and as a newbie I find it something to be easy to get into but hard to be good at. This is the first time that I’ve tried it out and what do you know, I fell in love with it. I have never played Monster Hunter before, although I heard that it’s an awesome game.
